Anpo Charging Thunder, MD

With the rising costs of healthcare and insurance premiums, as well as the shortage of healthcare providers which make access to care difficult, she decided to open Deer Valley Clinic as an affordable cash pay option for those who are uninsured, have high deductibles, are unable to get in rapidly to see a provider, find it difficult to get to town, or otherwise have difficulty acquiring care.  Deer Valley Clinic offers easy scheduling, same day appointments, affordable prices, and quality care in English and Spanish. Currently, Telehealth visits are offered with home visits possible for those who have difficulty getting out of their homes; however, once office space is secured, in person visits will be available. Holistic and complimentary medicine practices are supported.

The name of the clinic comes from the rich Lakota history of the area.  Before the area was settled and towns were established, the area was called "Deer Valley" by our Lakota Oyate (people).   It was an expansive area where deer were always plentiful thanks to the Niobrara River and other local creeks.
